RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING LIFETIME MEMBERS DUB & RAYE HANEY
WHEREAS, Dub & Raye Haney have been heavily involved in the Kerrville community for many years, with Dub serving as Postmaster in Kerr County for over 33 years; and
WHEREAS, Dub & Raye Haney have been members of the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce for 36 years starting on February 28, 1980; and
WHEREAS, Dub & Raye Haney were the first couple to receive the Citizen of the Year Award and have been instrumental in Kerr County and Kerrville; and
WHEREAS, Raye Haney served as an Ambassador for over 20 years and Dub Haney served on the Chamber Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, The KERRVILLE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE wants to recognize their lifetime achievements and contributors to our community; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE KERRVILLE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE:
That Dub & Raye Haney will become lifetime honorary members of the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce; and
That February 28th will now and forever be Dub & Raye Haney Day at Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce.
