The 2025 Hill Country Charity Ball Association event is scheduled for May 17th, 2025 at the Hill Country Youth Event Center. Since 1986, Hill Country Charity Ball has raised over $2.1 million dollars for charities right here in our community. Each year, HCCBA, Inc., dedicates the proceeds of the annual gala to non-profit organizations seeking to improve the lives of others. The beneficiary for 2025 is Disabled Outdoorsmen USA, a nonprofit who we are raising funds for equipment for their participants to be able to enjoy the outdoors. Six months later a permit was granted to begin operating a food trailer. Gerardo and his wife Michele joined forces to create Vecinos Fruteria y Cocina food trailer to serve the people of Kerrville authentic Mexican comfort food. The vision will continue based on the growth of the company which will one day turn into a small, casual restaurant. Meanwhile, the husband and wife team will work together to serve flavorful food that people enjoy. Vecinos' small-batch salsa can still be found at The Peachy Llama in Comfort, Central Provisions in Center Point and The Ridge Cafe in Kerrville.
